It is part of a nationwide scheme by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds to challenge children and their families to go on a mini-adventure and discover what goes bump in the night with the amazing nocturnal wildlife on their doorstep.

And those who are unable to make it to the Old Moor Wetlands Centre are welcome to camp out in their own gardens or outdoor spaces to get close to nature and discover which creatures they share their homes with.

The event at Old Moor Wetlands Centre costs £25 for adults, £15 for children and £20 for RSPB adult members. Places are strictly limited so booking is advisable. For full details contact the visitor centre on 01226 751593 or email [email protected]
