Emergency services dealing with major incident in Sheffield city centre

Police, fire crews and ambulances are all understood to be in attendance at the incident in St Mary’s Gate near to the Aldi supermarket.

There have been unconfirmed reports that there has been a collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle, with a First bus pictured half way across the carriageway in pictures from the scene.We have asked South Yorkshire Police for further details.
