Emergency services dealing with major incident on key Sheffield road tonight

Woodseats Road is understood to be closed in both directions following a road traffic collision.

Eyewitnesses have reported seeing three police cars, an ambulance and two fire engines at the scene.

Stagecoach South Yorkshire said three bus services were being disrupted as a result of the incident and tweeted: “43/44/X17 Woodseats blocked both ways due to RTC. services operating via Abbey Lane, Abbeydale Road and Woodseats Road.”
