Woman escapes unharmed after motorway bridge fall which shut M18 in South Yorkshire
A woman escaped unharmed after falling from a motorway bridge in South Yorkshire last night after police shut the road.
Officers closed the M18 between J2 and J3 near Doncaster at around 5pm last night (February 23) over concerns for a person’s safety, leading to queues of up to 90 minutes in both directions.

South Yorkshire Police said a woman fell from the bridge, but was uninjured.
She was taken to hospital and is now receiving “appropriate medical care”.
The M18, as well nearby Tickhill Road and Bubup Hill, reopened at around 8.40pm.
