All three lanes closed after M1 collision this afternoon near Sheffield
Sheffield was facing traffic chaos this afternoon after emergency services were sent to a crash which closed the northbound M1.

National Highways said there had been a road traffic collision at junction 34 and that they expected delays until 1.45pm.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service told The Star: “We received an emergency call at 12.15pm on Wednesday afternoon to report a collision on the M1 northbound near junction 34.
“An ambulance was dispatched to the scene and one patient was conveyed to Rotherham Hospital.”
National Highways told The Star there had been been an incident on the M1 northbound, at junction 34, with lane closures in place, causing delays back to junction 33.
