Three people fled from the scene of a crash which left two people injured and closed a major Sheffield road this morning.
The crash, in the early hours of today, left both City Road and Manor Road closed, while emergency services dealt with the aftermath of the incident, which happened shortly after midnight.

South Yorkshire Police sealed the roads off with blue and white police tape, with South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service were also on the scene.
Police said they were called to the incident at 12.05am, after a black Range Rover and a blue Skoda crashed at the junction of City Road and Manor Lane.
Officers said in a statement: “It is alleged that the three occupants of the Range Rover fled the scene following the incident.
“City Road and Manor Lane were closed following the incident and both vehicles were recovered from the scene. The roads have since reopened.
“Two people received injuries that are believed to be minor.”
Police said their investigations are ongoing and anyone with information that could help their enquiries is asked to get in touch online or by calling 101, quoting incident number three of October 16, 2026.
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service said they sent ‘a number of ambulance resources’, including two ambulances and a rapid response vehicle, to the scene and one patient was taken to hospital.
