Terraced Fox Hill homes lie in ruins following devastating Sheffield house fire

A row of terraced homes are in ruins today following a devastating house fire in Fox Hill.

Crews from at least eight fire engines along with specialist vehicles fought to contain the blaze on Grimsell Crescent today, which reportedly started as a grass fire just off Fox Hill Road at around 4am (July 23).

Harrowing photos show how several homes now stand gutted today with collapsed roofs and torched interiors.

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue remains at the scene and nearby Cowper Avenue is closed.
