Crews were sent to a commercial property on Wood Fold to deal with the incident, said bosses at South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service this afternoon.

A SYFR spokesman said: “Three fire engines were called to Wood Fold, Sheffield, after a call was received at 4.02pm regarding a fire in a commercial building.

“One hose reel was used to extinguish the fire which involved a fan.”

They said that the fire was now out and crews would shortly be leaving the area.
