Firefighters tackle second blaze on Meadowhall Road only days after industrial unit went up in flames
Firefighters have been called back to Meadowhall Road only days after they tackled a large blaze at an industrial unit on the street.
On Friday, January 2, shoppers at Meadowhall were shocked to see plumes of black smoke filling the sky.
Some left the shopping centre, as firefighters responded to the incident at a nearby industrial unit on Meadowhall Road.

The cause of the fire has yet to be determined, with investigations still ongoing.
However, as those enquiries are being made, firefighters were called back to Meadowhall Road earlier today (January 6) to another blaze at a commercial unit.
They told The Star this second fire is believed to have been accidental and no injuries have been reported.
A South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: “Two fire engines attended a commercial building on Meadowhall Road, Sheffield after a call was received at 2.57pm today stating that smoke was issuing from the building.
“The fire was extinguished using one hose reel and crews will shortly be leaving the scene. The cause is believed to have been accidental and there are no reports of any injuries.”
