Students enjoy road safety day

Have your say

OVER 2,000 Barnsley College students have been taking part in Drive for Life workshops, including wearing ‘beer goggles’ - allowing them to see how alcohol can impair vision and reactions.

The event included talks which were led by South Yorkshire Safer Roads Partnership, focusing on the main issues such as drink and drug driving, and speeding.

Workshops included myth busting about breathalyser tests and speeding awareness.
