Britain’s best known mountaineer will speak about his life and adventures at the latest of The University of Sheffield Students’ Union Flash! events.
Sir Chris Bonington is one of the most successful expedition leaders in history and his October 18 visit to the Octagon at The University of Sheffield Students’ Union will be one of the major highlights of the autumn Flash! season.
The British mountaineering started climbing at the age of 16 and has been on 19 Himalayan expeditions, including four to Everest.
He is renowned for having made many first ascents in the Alps and all the greater ranges of the world.
