A Sheffield secondary school has teamed up with universities and businesses to host its first aspirations day.
Students and their families are invited along to Sheffield Park Academy, Manor, on Saturday, March 14, from 10am to 1pm.
The event aims to help them to understand what can be expected from them when seeking employment or a place in higher education through a variety of activities and workshops.
Representatives from a range of Russell Group universities and businesses, including Rolls Royce and HSBC, will be attending.
Headteacher Craig Dillon said: “The main aim of the Aspiration Day is to make our young people aware of the possibilities available to them, whilst helping remove any potential barriers to aspiration and ambition.”
