A science teacher from a Sheffield school has become a fellow of the Primary Science Teacher College.

Hannah Champion, science co-ordinator at Monteney Primary School, Parson Cross, became a member when more than 100 fellows met for a two-day conference at Manchester University.

College fellows are recognised by their peers as being among the most innovative and effective teachers of primary science and around eight members are accepted each year.
