PARKING restrictions are set to be imposed in residential streets around a Sheffield school as a knock-on effect of a major redevelopment project.
Notre Dame RC High School, Ranmoor, is currently being refurbished.
Now the first phase of the work has been completed a car park previously used by staff and visitors has been lost, pushing vehicles out onto the surrounding roads.
Highways officers from the city council drew up a scheme last summer in a bid to address concerns raised by residents in the area, but there were complaints. Now a revised scheme has been proposed, and senior councillors will be asked to give their final approval despite the fact that there is still disquiet.
The plans propose a series of solutions, including double yellow lines and waiting restrictions.
