Pace aces from a Sheffield school took a top prize in a Formula One inspired contest held at the city’s Hallam University.
The Neutrina team from Bradfield School won the best research and development award at the northern regional final of the F1 in schools event.
The pupils from the Worrall school also took the runners-up spot in the F1 class.
They will now head to London for the national finals of the competition in March, along with teams from Otley and Ormskirk.
The world final will be held in Singapore.
