MORE than 20 teachers at a Rotherham school are to take a second day of strike action tomorrow in protest against cuts they say will cause job losses.

Members of National Union of Teachers are walking out at Swinton Community School, which they claim has been hit by financial mismanagement causing the budget to run out of control.

A particular concern is that one of the posts to be cut is the school’s special educational needs co-ordinator.

The school insists restructuring is essential due to a sharp fall in the number of pupils on roll.
