SCHOOLCHILDREN in Rotherham have become film stars to show fellow pupils and parents what is on offer at lunchtime.
Pupils from primary and secondary schools around Rotherham are the stars of films which are being used to help parents of pupils just starting school, or of ones moving up to secondary, get an idea of the healthy food and menus on offer in borough schools.
The children not only star in the films giving their thoughts on the meals, but also some of them actually carried out the interviews and helped with the editing.
Coun Paul Lakin, Rotherham Council member for children, young people and families, said: “We hope the videos will help give parents a chance to see that for themselves before their children start at a new school.”
