SOUTH Yorkshire youngsters are more likely to struggle at school if they do not have regular bedtimes or set meal times, according to a report by The Prince’s Trust.

One in 10 young people say their days ‘lack structure and direction’ – and those with lower school grades are significantly more likely to feel this way.

The charity’s fourth annual Youth Index – which gauges how young people feel about their lives across a range of areas from family life to physical health – also shows how more than one in four young people across the region ‘always’ or ‘often’ feel down or depressed, while almost half feel stressed all or most of the time.
