INSPECTORS have found that a Rotherham secondary school is doing a good job and is showing rapid improvement.
Rises in results and attendance were both highlighted in the report on Swinton Community School, which graded the main school and its sixth form as ‘good’ with ‘good capacity for sustained improvement’.
Inspectors also commented on the school’s rapid improvement over the last two years and said the school’s leaders now had a strong track record of success.
Headteacher David Pridding said: “Staff, students and their families can be very proud of what Ofsted said. Our success has been based on a genuine partnership between school, the students and their families. We are delighted.”
