More than 100 Rotherham children will be donning their caps and gowns to graduate from a very special university tonight.

The youngsters will become the latest to graduate from The Children’s University during the first boroughwide graduation ceremony, at the Magna Science and Adventure Centre, as part of the Rotherham Children’s Festival.

The children, aged between seven and 14, have all taken part in a range of exciting learning activities outside of their usual school programme – including a rock school, art classes, fundraising for Help for Heroes, a learning trip to Valencia, cooking and dancing.
