Project seeks gay anecdotes

Have your say

EXPERIENCES of ‘coming out’ and living life as a lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender person are being sought by a Sheffield University research project.

Allowed Out is a collaboration between the Department of History and Out Aloud, Sheffield’s gay community choir.

The plan is to ask people to take part in a series of writing workshops on May 26, June 14 and June 30 at St Mary’s Conference Centre, Bramall Lane and at the Quaker Meeting House on St James’ Street.

The sessions are open to any member of the LGBT community and will focus on the critical incidents that have shaped lives, identity and community.
