ENTERPRISING events to kick-start careers and celebrate creativity will be taking place in Sheffield at a new festival next week.

From Monday the University of Sheffield will hosting The Vice Chancellor’s Celebration of Enterprise, to include more than 50 events for students, staff and the public.

From visits to Heeley City Farm, women’s careers workshops, or challenges with Sheffield’s Student Formula Racing team, most activities are free.

The aim is to celebrate creativity and enterprise and Sheffield University’s Big Band will also present a rush-hour concert at Firth Hall, Firth Court, on Monday at 5.30pm.

The festival is organised by University of Sheffield Enterprise, which works to embed enterprise in the curriculum, as well as providing business start-up support to students and recent graduates.
