A SOUTH Yorkshire college is helping to boost blood stocks in the region by inviting the National Blood Service onto its campus.
The National Blood Service’s Bloodmobile will be at Dearne Valley College’s Manvers Campus on Thursday, May 24, between 9.30am and 12.30pm and 1.30pm and 4pm for people to donate blood.
Laura Shepherd, activities co-ordinator, said: “It is vitally important that people come along to Dearne Valley College to donate blood to help the National Blood Service save lives.
“The service is dependent on maintaining its required level of donors so it can run as usual.
“We are urging as many people as possible to do their bit to help and book an appointment.”
The Blood Service welcomes all donors past and present.
