STUDENT architects from The University of Sheffield are to take over The Moor in the city centre tomorrow to construct a variety of strange structures.

Some 90 first year students will bring their designs to life using biomaterials, polymers and concrete on the theme of A Place for Conversation.

An exhibition of work inside a vacant shop unit and in the bandstand will complement the installations.

“We aim to get the public talking. Our success or failure is on a knife edge!” said a spokesman.
