The unnamed woman casually strolled up to the 12-strong group of clergymen at a popular town centre bar and yelled: "I just wanna lay down naked on your table and you can eat your burgers off me!"

The bizarre scenes are understood to have unfolded in the Red Lion in the Market Place last night - and left fellow drinkers and pubgoers shocked.

One woman, who witnessed the scene, at around 8pm, said: "She just walked up to their table and shouted "you can eat your burgers off my naked body."

"She just started laughing and they all just looked startled."

The group, who were all wearing their ecclesiastical collars, were understood to have been enjoying a quiet meal at the pub, which is also a hotel, when the incident happened.

Added the witness: "There was a group of men sat next to us and nearly all of them had collars on and were calling each other Father - there were about twelve of them.

"I think some of them were trainees.

"They had just had their food when this middle aged woman walked in, walked up to their table and shouted: "I just wanna lay down on your table naked! You can eat your burgers off me!"

She added that a few other customers had laughed at the scene while others looked "mortified."

She added: "Me and my boyfriend and his mate just sat there in shock looking at each other. We couldn't believe she'd said it."

Unfazed by the incident, the woman then walked off to the bar while the priests "just carried on eating glancing at each other," according to the witness.
