Early-morning milk snatcher doing the rounds in Derbyshire
A milk thief is operating in Derbyshire.
Police are investigating after a man walked down the driveway of a property on Batemill Road, New Mills, then stole a bottle of milk from the doorstep.
Before taking the liquid, he inspected the homeowner's vehicle.
The offender is believed to have targeted several other vehicles in the area.
He is believed to be aged in his late 20s to early 30s with fair hair and a short beard.

The suspect was carrying a rucksack at the time of the crimes, which took place between 4.40am and 4.50am on Monday.
