Eagles are hit by phone glitch

SHEFFIELD Eagles drive to sell tickets for their Championship Grand Final has been hit by phone problems.

Supporters have been unable to contact the club on either their main number at the office in Don Valley Stadium for the last couple of days due to the glitches.

“We have to apologise and the phone company are trying to sort the problem,” said general manger Simon Proctor. “Our fans have been great coming in to buy tickets or contacting us by email.”

Supporters have been assured that they can buy tickets direct from the Rugby Football League or at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington for the game against Featherstone Rovers, on Sunday.

Eagles have a special Grand Final replica shirts available. Adult sizes £20, children £15.
