Drunk, violent and aggressive man arrested after chase through South Yorkshire town
Police officers arrested a man who was drunk, violent and aggressive following a foot chase through Rotherham.
Officers from Rotherham Central neighbourhood police team were called to to the town's railway station on Saturday night after a drunk man was aggressive and violent towards colleagues from British Transport Police.
A spokesman said: "After a short foot chase and some incredible help from a member of the public, he was detained and taken to custody."
