LOCATIONS across Sheffield for utility works and highway maintenance over the next few days have been revealed by highways chiefs.
Today, temporary signals operate on Clay Wheels Lane, Wadsley Bridge, Wortley Road, Deepcar and Manchester Road, Deepcar, for water works, on Loxley Road, Wisewood, for gas works,.
From today until September 26, Redmires Road, Lodge Moor, will have temporary lights, and signals also operate on High Street, Beighton, for road maintenance.
Lane closures are in place today on Halifax Road, Parson Cross, for traffic signals maintenance, while Broughton Lane is closed at Attercliffe from today until Sunday for water works and Kilvington Road, Woodthorpe, is shut for resurfacing.
On Sunday, Fife Street, Wincobank, is closed for tree pruning, while temporary signals or stop-go boards operate at Birley Spa Lane, Birley; Bruce Road, off Ecclesall Road; Chesterfield Road; Manchester Road, Stocksbridge; Station Road, Mosborough; West Street, Beighton.
Also on Sunday, there will be lane closures on Granville Road and Prince of Wales Road. Chaucer Road and Deerlands Avenue, Parson Cross and Longley Lane, Longley, will be closed for resurfacing, Gregg House Road, Shiregreen, is closed for traffic calming work. Wordsworth Avenue, Parson Cross, is one way south bound on Sunday for resurfacing.
From Monday to Sunday, October 2, Lane End, Chapeltown, has temporary signals, and Halifax Road has temporary lane closures near the new ASDA site at Parson Cross, from Monday to Thursday.
Twentywell Lane, Bradway, has temporary traffic signals on Tuesday, for electricity works.
