Driver threatened with knife after collision in Sheffield

A driver involved in a crash in Sheffield was threatened with a knife by an occupant of the other car involved.

South Yorkshire Police said the collision occurred on Barnsley Road, Firth Park, at 6.45pm on Monday and when the driver of one of the cars involved got out and started taking photographs of the damage, three occupants of the other car got out and one of them produced a knife.

"Three occupants got out of the other vehicle, one produced what is described as a flick knife and made threats to the other driver.

"The offending vehicle left the scene prior to exchanging details."
