Driver had heart attack

A PENSIONER whose car crashed in Thorne town centre died from a heart attack, a post mortem examination has revealed.

Because the 85-year-old man, who has not been named by police, died from natural causes the Doncaster Coroner will not be holding an inquest.

The collision on South Parade, Thorne, on Sunday evening happened when the elderly man, who was driving a VW Polo, collided with a lamp post and a wall before hitting a parked VW Lupo.
