A man has been arrested after being found asleep in a car in South Yorkshire with 19 wraps of suspected class-A drugs.

Officers from the Rotherham North neighbourhood police team spotted what they thought was an abandoned car in Brampton on Sunday.

When they approached it they found a man in his 20s asleep in it. In the car they found two mobile phones, a substantial amount of cash and 19 wraps of suspected class-A drugs.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession of class-A drugs with intent to supply and driving offences.
