Driver cut from car in crash near Chatsworth House

A driver had to be cut free from their car after crashing near the entrance to the Chatsworth Estate.

It happened on the B6012 at Edensor this afternoon (August 25) at around 12:40am.

Firefighters from Matlock and Bakewell attended before cutting the driver free.

They were left in the care of the East Midlands Ambulance Service.

A passenger had managed to get out before the emergency services arrived.

Derbyshire Police were also at the scene and are currently helping to clear the incident.
