Dozens of Sheffielders put on their running shoes and got muddy to raise thousands for a Sheffield cancer charity.
More than £5,000 was raised by participants who braved wind and rain for the Sheffield Together 5K and 10K runs through Ecclesall Woods yesterday.

Cavendish Cancer Care is a Sheffield-based charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people living with cancer in South Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
Fundraiser Tracey Helliwell, aged 36, of Wadsley said: “My best friend has had cancer twice so I am here for her and to support a wonderful charity and get very wet and muddy.”
Victoria Wood, from Cavendish Cancer Care, said: “We only raised £750 last year so this is amazing. It is going really well, so many people have turned up to support the charity. It gets people together out in the fresh air for a good cause.”
