Yorkshire Stone Roses fans are celebrating announcement of live double date on their doorstep.
Tickets go on sale at the end of this week for two Leeds live shows by the legendary band.
June 20 and 21 will sees the four Manchester mavericks take the stage at Leeds First Direct Arena, adding to already announced London, Glasgow and Belfast dates.
Venue director of sales and marketing Tony Watson enthused: "We’re absolutely delighted The Stone Roses have now chosen to add us to their stadium dates.
"We can’t wait for their fans to experience our legendary acoustics in such an intimate format. If you’re a Stone Roses fan, Leeds is the place to be."
As a taster for the gigs here's a timely quiz to test if you can recall Spike Island (if you can remember it, you probably weren't there!) by identifying Stoners track from the lyric.
Formed in 1984, they released self-titled classic debut album five years later before playing to a 30,000-strong adoring audience at the legendary Cheshire concert.
End of 1994 saw release of follow up album Second Coming before group members began to quit amid acrimonious split. Solo careers ensued but 2011 saw Brown, Squire, Mani and Reni put their differences aside to reform and play series of massive shows before further Stony silence.
And now, touring revisited, including newly announced Yorkshire double date.
