Door step salesman suspected of stealing cash from elderly woman

Police are appealing for information following theft from an elderly woman in Taddington.

On the morning of Monday, February 27, a door step caller visited a property on Main Street in Taddington selling cleaning products.

Once inside, the 93-year-old victim bought a pair of scissors and the man left.

It is believed that £30 was stolen from the property during the incident.

Police are appealing for residents in the area who may have been visited by a door step caller on Monday to get in touch.
