The fun will kick off this Good Friday with a special Easter-edition of the centre’s weekly market, at 10am, featuring local market traders alongside free face painting, and an Easter bonnet design craft stall. On Saturday, from 11am to 2pm, there will be an Easter Bonnet design competition, a letter hunt, stilt walkers, and live egg hatching.

Kids Art Academy has plenty of activities scheduled for their Easter holiday club, running from March 26-29 at Sheffield High School for Girls. Create magical goblets from clay, print pencil cases and lamp shades, learn to draw panthers, dragons and underground labyrinths, and make raspberry and chocolate cake, blueberry and banana cake, pizza, and pastries. This Easter Sunday, head to Sharrow for the 2018 Sharrow Lantern Carnival! The theme of this year’s lantern carnival is Monster Mash, and the hour-long parade will leave Mount Pleasant Park at 8pm, before meeting at Sheffield General Cemetery at 9pm for food, dancing, samba, music, fire spinning, hula hooping and more!

Enjoy some Easter-themed cinema this weekend, with screenings of the 1971 Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, to get you in the mood for a sugar-filled few days.

The tale of Charlie and his grandpa, as they take a tour of the strangest chocolate factory in the world, will be playing at Sheffield Cineworld this Saturday and Sunday, from 1pm both days.

Also on Sunday, Sheffield Cineworld will be hosting an autism-friendly screening of Peter Rabbit from 11am to 2pm. Enjoy the story of Peter Rabbit and his three sisters - Flopsy, Mopsy and Cotton-Tail - who enjoy spending their days in Mr McGregor’s vegetable garden. Calling all lovers of homemade and handmade, head to The Meadowhall Artisan Market this Easter weekend, which will be showcasing the finest food, drink and craft producers from across Yorkshire.
