'Don't drag Labour's good name into the gutter'

I was sad to read in Tuesday's Star that Oliver Coppard a life long Labour supporter has decided not to stand as a Labour candidate due to the antisemitism within Labour.

Sad but not surprised.

If it is any conciliation, this party that Corbyn is the mouth piece for is the Momentum party and Labour in name only.

It plans to deselect MPs like Frank Field and John Mann while promoting MPs like Naz Shah suspended a couple of years ago for anti semitic comments.

Momentum have done what the militant tendency failed to do and infiltrated every level of the Labour Party.

Labour’s failure to adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance definition of antisemitism recognised by 31 countries, 130 local councils, the police, crown prosecution service and judiciary shows how worried they are that if it is adopted the level of antisemitic comments posted on social media by Momentum members will create a crisis.

Only Momentum could elect Corbyn, a man who regards Venezuela as an inspiration where inflation this week touched 32,714 %.

A man who in November will arrive at the Cenotaph to lay a wreath. We know he will not sing the National Anthem but when wreaths are laid in memory of our brave service personnel will he be honouring them or his friends in the IRA, Hamas and Hezbollah who killed so many of them.

If Momentum want a political voice then stand as Momentum and don’t drag Labour’s good name into the gutter.
