Don't be so SAD this dark winter

SEASONAL affective disorder is normally associated with the dark, gloomy days of winter.

But thanks to the wretched summer many people who are susceptible to SAD and the winter blues are already struggling.

Around one in 20 people suffers from the symptoms of SAD, while more – approximately one in eight of us – experience the less-severe form of SAD, when you feel moody and miserable due to a drop in natural sunlight which affects ‘happy’ chemicals in the brain.
