“It nearly killed her but what is shocking as well is that when they X-rayed her they found another bullet lodged in her stomach which has been there for months.

“She now has a bullet in her stomach and also a bullet lodged next to her carotid artery which she will have for the rest of her life until it moves and kills her.

“She’s only two years old. I’ve had three cats also go missing since I’ve lived in this house.

“The police told me but it is an ongoing problem in Doncaster and I would be very interested to see how many other people having this issue.

Mrs Watson, who lives in Intake, said: “I understand that some people really don’t like cats but honestly all you have to do is open the window and shout or just scare them off you don’t have to try and kill them.”
