Doncaster singer Louis Tomlinson set for court custody battle over son

Tomlinson had a child, named Freddie Reign, with Los Angeles-based stylist Briana Jungwirth, born in January of this year.

Now showbiz website TMZ reports that Tomlinson is ready to go to court to gain join custody of the tot.

According to the report, the star is considering legal action to ensure "joint physical and legal custody" as well as "a 50/50 split in terms of the division of time each spends with their son".

Tomlinson has not yet commented on the reports. He split with Jungwith ahead of the birth and has reportedly been in a relationship with actress Danielle Campbell since last December.

Earlier this month, Tomlinson posted a picture of himself with his son, along with the caption: "Happy Father's Day to every lucky lad out there who's someone's daddy! Thoroughly enjoyed my first :) Love you Freddie son X".
