Doncaster shoppers urged to talk about
Shoppers in Doncaster will be encouraged talk about death and bereavement next week as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week.
On Tuesday, staff from Doncaster’s Living Well Cancer Information Service, run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, will take a bus to St Sepulchre Gate to help break down some of the fears associated with talking about death.
Service lead Jo O’Marr said: “Death and bereavement is a natural part of everybody’s life cycle, but it’s a taboo subject for most people.”
