Doncaster Rovers: Shane Blaney exits in loan deal

Doncaster Rovers defender Shane Blaney has joined Tamworth on a six month loan deal.

The 19-year-old joined Rovers from League of Ireland side Finn Harps in January on a two-and-a-half year contract.

Blaney - who captained Republic of Ireland Schoolboys - has yet to make a senior appearance for Rovers.

Boss Grant McCann has been keen to send out younger members of his squad on loan to gain experience.

Tamworth play in the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division Central.
