Doncaster Rovers: Highland League midfielder Blair Yule on trial at Keepmoat
The 23-year-old came off the bench to replace James Coppinger during Wednesday night’s friendly against Newcastle United.
Yule has been with Highland League side Rangers since 2010.

“He’s a young lad we brought down last year from Scotland,” Darren Ferguson said, without confirming Yule’s identity.
“I’ve got a good relationship with the club because I took Paul Coutts from there when I was at Peterborough.
“I thought he did well. He showed good composure, good energy.
“He’s definitely got something, the boy.”

“There has been some talk between the chairmen at Cove and Doncaster.”
Rovers have also taken Tadcaster Albion forward Alfie Beestin on trial.
Goalkeeper Thorsten Stuckmann – transfer-listed at the end of last season – has left the club by mutual consent.
