Doncaster Rovers confirm Newcastle United friendly

Doncaster Rovers will host Newcastle United in a pre-season friendly next month.

Rafa Benitez’s side, who are preparing for life in the Championship following their relegation from the Premier League, will visit the Keepmoat Stadium on Wednesday, July 20 (7.45pm).

Rovers have also confirmed friendlies at Rossington Main (July 12) and York City (July 26), and at home to Middlesbrough (July 16).
