Connor Scott, Jordie Hedges, Kieran Cross, Sam Doherty, Richard Owen and Brad England have all committed themselves to the club for another campaign, which could yet see the Dons back in the Championship.

Back-rower England, 23, has been one of the stand-out players for Richard Horne's side this season while 23-year-old hooker Cross will feel he has a point to prove after missing the last three months through injury.

Utility outside-back Owen has scored nine tries in 20 appearances so far this term after featuring at both full back and wing.

Australian Hedges will prepare for his fourth season at the Dons after agreeing new terms while winger Sam Doherty is keen to add to the ten tries he has scored so far this year.

Prop Scott has been a virtual ever-present for Horne this season, missing just one game.

The six new deals come in the wake of Jason Tali, Matty Beharrell and skipper Ryan Boyle committing their futures to the Dons.

Horne's side will look to take another step closer to securing a League 1 play-off place on Sunday when they host Newcastle Thunder at the Keepmoat.
