The Australian received a three-match ban in midweek after being sent off in the recent win at Keighley for making a dangerous tackle.

Better news for the Dons, who will set a new club record for successive league and cup wins if they defeat the Cumbrians, is that both scrum-half Matty Beharrell and second-rower Brad England are available for selection,

The pair picked up niggly injuries in the game at Cougar Park and were left out of the trip to North Wales last weekend.

'They both could have played in that game but we decided to give them another week,' said assistant coach Pete Green.

Tomorrow's game is almost certainly a dress rehearsal for next Sunday's promotion play-off semi-final between the two teams on the same ground

Town could finish the league campaign on the same number of points as the third-placed Dons if they complete the double over them tomorrow.

But they would need to win by over 60 points to finish above them and gain home advantage in the play-off and neither camp is expecting such a result.

Town boss Leon Pryce hinted he could rest several key players earlier in the week but added: 'We haven't got a huge squad so it's not like I've got loads of players I can rest.

'We want to compete well but it's not life or death. We don't have to win which is good.'

Leaders York City Knights take on visiting Whitehaven in a game both sides go into the weekend needing to win.

With second-placed Bradford Bulls, who entertain lowly Hemel Stags tomorrow boasting a much better points difference, defeat for the Knights would see them drop into the play-offs and the West Yorkshire side promoted.

Whitehaven will need to win to retain the final play-off spot if Oldham, who have a much better points difference, win at London Skolars this evening.

Were Oldham to go down against Skolars and Whitehaven to lose heavily at Bootham Crescent, Hunslet could grab fifth spot on points difference if they beat Coventry Bears at the Butts Arena by a sizeable margin.
