Chief Executive and Returning Officer, Jo Miller, said: “You can only cast your vote if you are on the electoral register so don’t delay, sign up now. These are your local services so make your voice heard.”

There is also a Doncaster Council ward by-election in Edenthorpe and Kirk Sandall as well as a parish council by-election on Hatfield Town Council – Dunscroft Ward.

Doncaster Council is urging residents to register to vote here, and get on the electoral register ahead of the election.

Once registered to vote, residents can make their mark in one of three ways: by voting in person at a polling station, by postal vote or by proxy.
