Danny McMillan has kicked off the fun campaign for the 23 stone footballer to feature on the cover of football game franchise FIFA 18 after the Sutton United ace was given the boot for munching on a pie during his side's 2-0 FA Cup defeat to Arsenal on Monday.

More than 30 people have already backed Danny's petition on the change.org website which he says is "self explanatory."

Shaw became an unlikely national hero for his large bulk during the minnows' march to the last 16 of the FA Cup and was filmed tucking into a pasty during the second half of Monday night's game.

However, it emerged that a betting firm had offered odds of 8-1 that Shaw would be filmed eating a pie during the game and he later offered his resignation to the London club, which was accepted, after an investigation was launched.

Harry Lavin, from Manchester, one of those who has signed the petition, said: "Heroes don't exist enough in football these days."

The petition will be delivered to game makers EA Sports who in the past have featured the likes of football legends Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo on the cover.
