Doncaster crime round-up: Television and jewellery taken in house raid

The following crimes were reported on Saturday August 16 and Sunday August 17. Anyone with information call South Yorkshire Police on 101,

Balby: A purse was stolen containing £45 from a house on Suffolk Road, between 1am and 1.15am this morning. A burglar got in due to downstairs window being left open.

Balby: A laptop and mobile phone were stolen from a house on Melford Drive. between 11.30pm on Friday and 6am on Saturday. A burglar got in due to downstairs window being left insecure.

Thorne: A television and items of jewellery were stolen by raiders who broke into a property on Ashfield Avenue between 3pm on Friday and 3pm on Saturday. A burglar smashed a window to get in to the property.

Belle Vue: A chained pedal cycle was stolen from a garden between 9pm on Friday and 1pm on Saturday, at a house on Bennetthorpe.

Braithwell: A wallet containing £40 was stolen from a car which had been left insecure on Cardwell Court. It was taken between 11pm on Friday and 9.30am on Saturday.

Rossington: Fencing panels were taken from a property on Allenby Crescent, between 1am and 8am on Saturday.
